Berrington Snow Management has kept Long Island properties safe for over 40 years. We are hiring Snow Shovelers for the winter season to clear sidewalks, walkways, entrances and stairs at commercial properties across Suffolk and Nassau County. If you are reliable, don't mind the cold and want solid pay when it snows, we want to hear from you.
- Pay: $30 to $40 per hour
- Schedule: On call during snow events, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Location: Crews work out of our Holbrook and Southampton branches
What you'll do
- Shovel and snow blow sidewalks, entrances, stairways and ramps
- Spread salt and ice melt to keep walkways safe
- Work as part of a crew on a set route during and after storms
- Report hazards or property issues to your crew lead
What we're looking for
- 18 years or older
- Able to do physical work outdoors for long shifts in winter weather
- Reliable and reachable by phone when a storm is coming
- Reliable transportation to the branch (a valid driver's license is a plus)
- No experience needed. We train you.
